Buffalo (Syncerus caffer) are one of Africa’s Big Five and of the tourists Big Seven. Unfortunately they are susceptible to diseases such as bovine tuberculosis, which recently spread through Kruger National Park. These buffalo of Karongwe Game Reserve (near Kruger) are part of a disease free herd.
